Post Dated refers to cheque which has been written by the drawer for a future date. It is not payable before the date written on the cheque. Even if the cheque is deposited before the date mentioned, the bank will hold on to the cheque until the cheque date is matured. MAXX enables its users to maintain post dated cheques. PDC transactions will not affect the ledgers until the post dated entry is passed on or after the specified date mentioned in the cheque. The PDC report  shows the list of all PDC’s with various filtering and adjustment options. The PDC’s that needs to be cleared today will be reminded on the business dashboard too. This makes the work easier, convenient, and help users tracks receipt/payment entries and avoids a lot of confusion.

MAXX: Handle complex business operations with simplicity

An introduction to Cheque Return Feature

Cheque return generally happens due to the insufficient amount available in the bank account or account name and signature mismatch. This is even referred as dishonoring of cheque, cheque bounce, etc. Due to the cheque return, both the cheque issuer and the depositor will be charged a service fee from the bank. This fee may vary between different banks as per their policies. MAXX enables its users to enter the cheque return voucher with bank charges. This entry will automatically reverse the particular receipt entry which was made and even include the cheque bounce charges incurred to the client’s outstanding balance as a new reference. Many such features in MAXX helps improve business productivity and optimizes workflow procedure.
